Project brief

IsletNet is build by Cognexa with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and deep neural networks, which allow for fast and accurate segmentation of microscopic images. The service was produced at and for the Diabetes Center at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM), located in Prague, Czech Republic.

Project role

My role was to create a user interface which helps laboratories all around the world with counting pancreatic islets in microscopic images. The main goal was to design an interface which will be intuitive and very easy to use. The goal was reached by intense cooperation with the key opinion user who was shaping the whole concept of this service. It was a great experience.
